Geographic Information Systems

The Computer Applications Lab is the home of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) at Evergreen as well as the primary lab supporting the Natural and Physical Sciences. Here, students can develop skills and pursue academic interests in GIS, remote sensing, environmental modeling and analysis. The lab boasts over 80 machines with GIS capabilties. Resources include plotters, scanners, digitizers and a full suite of software packages to enable students to explore GIS.
